Praecip is a small team in Kampala building the marketplace that we wished existed when we were choosing schools. We hire for character first, then craft, then experience, in that order.
What we believe
We work for the schools, parents, teachers and students of Uganda, not for shareholders, advertisers or hype cycles.
We say what we think a school is doing well and where it's falling short, even when that's uncomfortable. Especially then.
Marketplaces fail when the mechanics break. We invest in payments, data, moderation and customer ops as if our reputation depends on them, because it does.
We're not building a Western platform translated to Uganda. We're building the platform that answers questions only Ugandan families ask.
