The sector, by role
An illustrative split of the postings circulating across Praecip-indexed secondary schools. Teaching dominates as you would expect, but the support and leadership tail is larger than most candidates assume.
Subject teachers across UCE, UACE, Cambridge, IB, French Bac, Montessori and CBSE. Sciences and Maths most chronically under-supplied.
Heads, deputies, heads of department, programme coordinators. Tenure averages four to seven years at the top tier.
Bursars, registrars, admissions officers, HR leads. The roles parents and inspectors actually deal with.
