CBSE-affiliated schools run from Class I to Class XII, culminating in two board examinations: the AISSE (All India Secondary School Examination) at Class X and the AISSCE (All India Senior School Certificate Examination) at Class XII. The curriculum is strong on mathematics and the sciences and is widely respected internationally.

Who attends CBSE schools in Uganda?

CBSE schools in Uganda primarily serve the Indian diaspora community, a long-established population in Kampala and Jinja. The schools are also increasingly attracting Ugandan families drawn to the curriculum's rigour in mathematics and the sciences, and its strong record placing pupils into Indian medical and engineering universities.
