National Teachers' College Kaliro prepares teachers for the lower-secondary years (S1–S4), awarding the Grade V Teacher Diploma after a two-year programme. It is one of the Ministry's national teachers' colleges serving the eastern region, and is affiliated for academic supervision to a public university.
