About

What this school is, in plain words

Scoris International School has grown from a small Kibuli Hill primary in 1996 into one of the largest Cambridge schools in Uganda, with strong IGCSE and A-Level outcomes and a notably energetic co-curricular life.

Not polished exam-takers, but self-confident, broadly capable young people who can lead.

Scoris founding vision, 1996

A message

From the director of studies

Scoris's edge is range, academic, sporting, artistic. We don't want polished exam takers; we want self-confident, broadly capable young people who can lead.

The Praecip verdict

Strongest co-curricular life of any Cambridge school in Uganda

What stands out

Scoris's breadth is unusual: serious academic results across IGCSE and A-Level, plus a sports & arts programme that genuinely competes for national titles. The day-and-boarding split gives families flexibility few peers offer.

Where it falters

At scale (2,000+ pupils), individual attention can suffer in middle years; class sizes drift to the upper end of the Cambridge norm. Strong students thrive; quieter students need parental advocacy.
