The Praecip verdict

Eastern Uganda's flagship girls' school, strong academics with cross-tribal reach

What stands out

Tororo Girls' draws from across Eastern Uganda, Bukedi, Busoga, Bugisu, Teso, making it the most demographically diverse girls' boarding school in the country. Results are consistently strong and pastoral care is excellent.

Where it falters

Like many Eastern boarding schools, infrastructure investment has lagged Kampala's. STEM facilities are functional rather than impressive. For families in Eastern Uganda wanting a serious girls' school option close to home, Tororo Girls' is the established answer.
