Art Teacher (Year 1 – Year 6)

Acadia International School - Lubowa

Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Fine Art (BIFA) or another relevant discipline, with strong A-Level results in Art and English. Proven experience teaching Art, ideally at upper primary level within a Cambridge or comparable international curriculum. Registered teacher status where applicable, with a genuine passion for inspiring young learners in the visual arts.

The Opportunity

  • Acadia International School - Lubowa is recruiting an Art Teacher for Year 1 to Year 6. The role calls for an educator able to inspire children to enjoy and excel in Art while contributing meaningfully to the school's wider co-curricular life.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Fine Art (BIFA) or another relevant degree.
  • Strong A-Level results in Art and English.
  • Registered teacher (where applicable).

Person Specification

  • Proven experience teaching Art.
  • Previous teaching experience at upper primary level is an added advantage.
  • Experience teaching the Cambridge or another international curriculum will be an added advantage.
  • Passionate about inspiring children to enjoy and excel in Art.
  • Energetic, creative and committed to high-quality teaching.
  • Willing to actively participate in and support co-curricular and whole-school programmes.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
