The Opportunity

  • Nestra Creative Studios (NCS) is looking for a Digital Skills Instructor to join a founding team shaping curriculum development, learner engagement, programme delivery and the continued growth of NCS. The successful candidate will also contribute to community outreach and holiday programming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging digital skills lessons for children and young people.
  • Facilitate introductory coding, digital literacy, robotics and AI awareness sessions.
  • Prepare lesson plans and learning materials.
  • Support holiday programmes, weekend academies and school outreach activities.
  • Encourage creativity, collaboration and problem-solving among learners.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist in developing new learning content and activities.
  • Help maintain training equipment and learning spaces.
  • Represent NCS professionally during events and partnerships.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Final-year students expecting to graduate soon and recent graduates (0-2 years) are especially encouraged to apply.

  • Digital design or creative media.
  • Artificial intelligence tools.
  • Community volunteering or youth programmes.
  • Formal teaching experience is not mandatory.
