The Opportunity

  • Acadia International School - Lubowa is recruiting an inspirational, dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher for Year 3 to Year 6, to join the team and nurture a love of learning in young learners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts with Education, specialising in English.
  • Strong A-Level results in English and other Arts subjects.
  • Registered teacher (where applicable).

Person Specification

  • Proven experience teaching English.
  • Experience teaching at upper primary level is an added advantage.
  • Passionate about helping learners develop confidence and excellence in English.
  • Creative, energetic and committed to delivering engaging, learner-centred lessons.
  • Excellent classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to actively contribute to co-curricular activities and wider school programmes.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, professionalism and a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills or the willingness to take on leadership responsibilities will be an added advantage.
