  • Oversee procurement and maintenance of training equipment, demonstration plots and livestock units.
  • Manage the centre's budget and financial reporting in line with donor and Foundation policy.
  • Track training outcomes and graduate employment rates to guide continuous improvement.
  • Represent the centre at regional TVET forums and agricultural shows.

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Education, Vocational Training or a closely related field.
  • Minimum eight years of progressive experience in agricultural vocational education, agribusiness development or rural extension.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development, training delivery and assessment within a TVET or equivalent system.
  • Demonstrated leadership managing training institutions, projects or teams, including budget oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of the Elgon Region's agricultural systems and key value chains.
  • Fluency in English and Luganda.

Desirable

  • Master's degree in Agricultural Economics, Education Management or Agribusiness.
  • Experience working with international donors, NGOs or government skills development programmes.
  • Familiarity with competency-based training methodologies and national qualifications frameworks.
  • Background establishing public-private partnerships linking training to employment.
