Job Purpose

  • We are seeking dedicated and dynamic Primary School Teachers committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering the holistic development of learners.

Subject Areas of Teaching

  • Mathematics & Science.
  • Social Studies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and conduct lessons according to the Watoto schools' standards.
  • Administer assessments and structured assignments to support learning.
  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate learner progress to build a positive learning culture.
  • Offer mentorship and facilitate leadership sessions for small groups.
  • Implement and evaluate the learning experience through real-life project experiences.
  • Observe learner growth and provide immediate academic support.
  • Advise learners academically and socially to support career decisions.
  • Maintain proper stewardship of all assigned school equipment.
  • Promote learners' well-being, safety and holistic development.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • The applicant for the role should hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field from a recognised university.
  • At least two (2) years' teaching experience in a primary school setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide holistic education to learners and to promote evidence-based learning.
  • Ability to contribute to the learners' character, talent and skills development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A high degree of flexibility and initiative.
  • Commitment to work within a team environment and ability to work under minimal supervision.
